Event management is the hosting nature of any kind of program and to organize procedures in the more effective way and sustain their service for long term. In any event, all the aspect of people safety and the security is needed to accomplish the event in an ethical manner. People are attending the particular event with that belief that the entire event related processes have met by the event organizer(bbc.co.uk 2017). But there are several cases where everything is planned in a suitable manner but some mishap will happen and organizer has to prevent the situation for the stagnancy of event progression. Fire prevention and safety policy is also impactful for an event as the precaution manner is only identified by that process. There are several inflammable components are used in an event so protecting those components as well as the event the fire precaution alliances is needed  (Block 2016). Public order maintenance and traffic management is another issue that needed to conduct in an ethical manner so that event program can be consolidated in a proper manner. Traffic management is important as proper alignment of the traffic vehicles and their standings are also important as the process might change the effective planning of the event. First aid of each person is required as the event management is the only responsible group to concern in (bbc.co.uk 2017). Public transport and their route need to be evaluated for the better planning and demonstration of the event. Water safety and underground securities are formulated is event management the needed to be focused for the better event management plan.

Common Risks and Threats in Event Management

There are some probable threats that might change the direction of the planning as well as make transforms the event framework in the worst way. The determinations of those threats are important to get rid of those unplanned situations in the event. The most challenging situation to control an event is the Unclear Budget and that has surfaced major problem for the particular event (Armstrong and Taylor 2014).The budget will come up with new innovative ideas and expresses when the event planning has to be done in less amount of money. Tracking of expenses are the important aspects of the event planning. Deprived Time Management is another threat that needed to be focus as long term and short terms goals needed to be executed within the speculated time. The time has made its impact on event venue, event size, and the possible range of time that event will go on. These are the possible threats that have to overcome for the development of the event management (Mason 2015). Careless mistakes are needed to be mitigated so that a flawless event can be organized. For the better management and planning need to be imposed in the event planning operation so that simple mistakes can be mitigated. The purposeless event needs to keep aside as these are not the progressive issues that mend by the event management team (Getz and Page 2016). Rather their anticipated values and the successful implementation of the planning need to be developed in a successful manner and purposeless events are staying aside from the event cases. Change management is the inconstant change that should be realistic and pre-planned as the changes are made in the entire course that effect the implementation of strategic event management.  

There are some legal terms that have to be followed in an event in an event so that ethical understanding of the law has an impact for the betterment of event progression. Management of Health and Safety at work regulation 1999 (HSW) is the government regulation act that imposed over the event as well for the better understanding and the implementation of the event perspective (bbc.co.uk 2017). Events are formulated by healthcare departments or nonprofit organization where proper event care is not delivered. In such cases, the general control planning needs to play a greater role than other cases. Event management responsibilities, mission, and vision and the significance of the key stakeholders are the important aspects in that case that analyzes the event background and allocates all the phase of the event planning.

Participant failure is another t aspect that may confront the event management team as all the members are not efficient in the same level thus their influence in the event planning need to differentiate in a resultant manner (Rothwell et al. 1950). The event process becomes smooth if event management group introduces their technological aspect in a relevant way and also implement the best connectivity to analyze the event in best possible manner. Unexpected weather is another threat or the mishap issue that might change the planning in a drastic way (SteadieSeifi et al. 2014). If the natural imbalance is persisted over a place then events are not taken palace due to that weather. This issue might be a threat to the event planning where all has been set for the final approach of the event and then at the ultimate time the weather discrepancy has happened.

External and Internal Challenges and Threats

All these are the external and internal challenges and threats that have to determine for the legitimate presentation of the event management team. They are not fully responsible for these reasons (Ross 2015). There is some reason that has not controlled by them as they are the natural issue but still, there are certain challenges that needed to identify so that event can be fulfilled in the proper manner. Event management plan and their sustainable condition need to affect the planning over the event so that identical and structured development and planning is sustained over the matter (Altinay, Paraskevas and Jang 2015). The planning of event analyses with the poem "To a Mouse" where the panic-stricken mouse looking for the house and couldn't search as this was already got diminished by the people while ploughing the field (Chen et al. 2015). The deep concept of the poem signifies the latent meaning from the perspective of the mouse. As the mouse was unaware of this diminished house as everything is planned for the mouse but the sudden harsh of plough devastate the house and the mouse become houseless. In events, this is also same as the following where the unplanned issues are creating big impact over the situation and event management team have nothing to do unless they can pull off the process in a quick manner (Jones 2014). So every possible thinking and innovative policies are there for the betterment of the event whereas in case of that mouse there are no such options that the mouse has to implement (Chen et al. 2015). However, if there are any natural disaster or mishap happens then it cannot be controlled by the team and this supposes to be the limitation of events. Thus gaining and implementing knowledge is the ultimate thing that must be incorporated into this planning procedure to have a proper event from event management end. For this reason, venue, time, place, whether the administration, people accumulation, estimation of age, male and female ratio all these are the detailing factor that needed to set up in mind so that event procedure can go smooth(Altinay, Paraskevas and Jang 2015). Evaluation of the show in an aspect of gas, fuel, and any inflammable things are the concern thinking over the matter and that also marked as the cure and prevention of demolishing an event.

There are some emergency plans, the arrangement of the ambulance, initial medical response, Fire extinguishment, evacuation plan, alerting procedure and emergency controlling rooms are there for the mitigation of event devastate situation. With this kind of event demolition “To a Mouse” has been related, as the mouse has also confronted the same situation where the house of the mouse was irrupted at the time of ploughing. It was also an example which meets the metaphoric symmetry to the event demolition and their probable consequences of grief and sorrow.
