Adopting IoT in the Construction Industry
The researcher explored the latest trend of research in the field of IoT in construction. Effective integration of blockchain and IoT has been represented throughout the study, where a systematic examination is done using critical analysis approaches.
The utilization of blockchain technology and IoT platforms increased during the application visibility process. The traceability and automated data collection methods can be optimized by adopting IoT in the construction industry. According to the research, it has been seen that blockchain adoption is relatively lower than the IoT adoption process. The real-life case studies in the IoT are used for different purposes in various sectors, such as measuring the performance of civil tasks such as facility management, and in some cases, it has been used for progress evaluation. Moreover, construction sites' safety and health monitoring will also be monitored through this IoT and blockchain integration.
There are such limitations in the Automation Construction program when designing the conceptual framework. The framework can be improved by enhancing supply chain management flow related to the direct publication in IoT and blockchain. So, dedicated construction-based research will require once the integration of blockchain and IoT in the construction family becomes available.
In this paper, a construction-based project management game has been designed effectively. This project is useful to acquire knowledge and relevant skills related to the construction project. The construction gaming player competencies are measured in this study.
The present study has been designed and developed a management game in the field of project management. The project planning, scheduling, cost, and risk management related to the construction project help improve practical knowledge and project management competencies at the lowest cost. This approach allows the users to gain experience in a simulated construction-based project environment and execute the project efficiently.
The research limitations lead to the development phase of the science for the construction project. The research limitation can be seen if the people engaged in this project are not familiar with the large-scale project in the construction field. So, the generalization of the results will be reviewed and compared in construction-based research work.
The researcher compares the manufacturing industry-based approaches and manufacturing techniques used by the off-site building constructions. This study aims to apply both approaches to different construction sites by integrating off-site construction in effective ways.
This research has been identified that prefabricated houses and cars are considered specific and feasible incompatibilities. The industrialized composition order has been introduced here, where the pre-fabricated houses and cars present only 40.9% of feasibilities and more than 59% of project constraints. However, specific and rational guidelines have been introduced to minimize the incompatibility issues.
A Construction-based Project Management Game
The research findings are limited to the buildings and products in particular regions. Therefore, the proposed study may be incompatible with other construction-based projects. Besides this, the evaluation matrix used in the real-life project complies with word limit constraints. Therefore, it is required to expand the research areas and check the project flexibility in the future.
The researcher has been proposed a unique two-tier workforce management approach in the construction industry. Both the Tier-I and Tier-II strategies are designed specially to enhance the effectiveness of the industrial construction project. An analysis of on-site visits of the individual project reduces employee absenteeism in this construction industry and improves project efficiency during the development stages.
Currently, the construction industry mainly experiences a shortage of skilled workers. The construction industry organizes workforce management programs for human resource development. The on-job training has been provided to improve the workforce by engaging a structured workforce management strategy.
The two-tier approaches discussed in the study have limitations in their successful implementations in construction-based projects. A stand-alone system creates barriers to successful project implementation. The strategy must follow the project structure without ignoring the overall industry goals. Therefore, future research will focus on the flexibility of the project types.
The researcher analyzed that partnering has been considered the top management agenda in the construction management industry. This plan aims to enhance performance with the desired level of strategic planning. This research provides an analytical framework to transform strategic partnering from a normal partnering approach with suppliers.
Through the extension of the partnering project, strategic partnering can emphasize a relationship between the network orientation and project development work. This framework derives from the cross-filtration process under the industrial network.
Future research on strategic partnering on a large scale can provide enough effort to improve the construction project performances. The transformation of strategic partnering will require a basic assumption and principle related to efficient behaviour in construction. This practice will avoid the undermining positive traits of the latest organizational arrangements.
This research paper analyzed an effective decision-making process for the construction framework and involved the sustainable assessment integration cycle. Besides this, the building information model (BIM) has been considered the most suitable substance for the construction project. This framework has been built to identify the challenges during its implementation.
The fuzzy analytic hierarchy program can be chosen within the proposed framework to minimize project ambiguity in the construction industry. The residential building was considered to validate the newly proposed fuzzy process where the constructions-based operations are applied.
Two-tier Workforce Management Approach in the Construction Industry
The project has been designed for the proposed building model in this research work, where the data collection is quite difficult to perform. The interpretation phase has failed to meet the project deliverables if the framework usability is not engaged here. Besides this, it is quite a problem to obtain all the data related to the building by covering environmental and social spheres. Future research might explore the innovative framework such that the real-building development project can be designed to measure the accuracy of the project.
This research study implied that the DSCP technologies could be represented through mixed review methods. Moreover, the knowledge and skills are required to run advanced digitization programs in the construction-based supply chain are explained here in brief.
Various themes such as digital constructions, digital integration, and security in the construction industry are involved here. Blockchain contracts are engaged to run the construction supply chain without any technical and security flaws.
Future research can explore the BIM integration for sustainable construction-based project evaluation. The digital construction integration concept and digital security need to be focused on exploring the BIM integration. The emerging DSCP technologies under the Industry 4.0 can face cybersecurity challenges. So, future research might perform sustainable certification checks and involve the product identification technique.
The research paper analyzed to verify the dispute of the modular construction projects. This study adopts integrated multiple analytical research. This research is useful to collect the data from different social networks and recognize the most common issues related to disputes in modular construction projects.
The dispute causation in the modular construction project has been identified in by a proper investigation technique. A lack of collaboration between different project segments and delayed project finishing time are the main issues that the researcher has identified. Besides this, poor communication between the project managers and clients is another potential issue in the construction project.
Disputes in Modular Construction Projects have been identified in this research study where the traditional construction-based project and modular construction are distinguished. Moreover, the construction project develops to quantify the casual factors regarding modular construction disputes.
The researcher suggested that the modular construction project can deliver sustainability credentials throughout this article. The modular based project mentioned in this study is used to increase project efficiency.
At present, the reuse feature of modular construction is promoted with resource efficiency under the construction-based value chain models. It maximizes the sustainability performance by introducing new structural components with new designs. Dynamic information capture and management have been considered here to reuse the modular components.
Strategic Partnering in Construction Management
The employment of the RFID-BIM is limited to a construction project where the interoperability between the stakeholders in the construction industry has been considered. By involving value-chain methods, the construction project can be managed, and the project life-cycle management monitoring process can be improved. Therefore, attractiveness promotes innovation and unlocks a multi-dimensional system that can improve value upstream and downstream of the construction system.
This research study analyzed the recent development of the project optimization process in the construction supply chain process. It mainly focused on the systematic approach to integrating all the construction-based models and procedures with procurement and execution phases.
In the research article, the application of the performance optimization model can minimize the cost of the construction project. Here, design-level processes are incorporated with the optimization model. The researcher has been proposed the lean construction model to standardize the supply chain process in the construction-based project.
This article cannot evaluate design level factors and effects with a clear identification technique. Therefore, it is required to engage the decision-making tool and identify the best decision in the construction-based projects. However, it can be incorporated through mathematical models and qualitative design levels to achieve the civil project aim effectively.
