44 y.o male electrician

• 1 week of elbow pain after a fall

Seen by MD day after injury

• Films completed, but not read (patient has films with him)
• Referred to PT

AROM/PROM painful and limited (10-105o ), especially painful ext

1. Was imaging indicated for this patient? If so, why?

2. The patient brought his images to his initial physical therapy visit, but there was no radiologist's report.

3. What would you do at this point in your practice setting (consult a physician or colleague, perform a manual intervention, assess results after treatment, etc)?

4. Do you recommend any imaging beyond what has already been done? If so, why? What type of study would you want to see?

5. What are your management recommendations for this patient? In other words, what would you do for this patient today?
