For this assignment, you will continue to pre-write and plan for your argument research essay by applying pre-writing to your thesis from Week 1 (revised as necessary according to instructor feedback and your own further thought). You will also construct a first draft of your full introduction paragraph, modeling what you have learned from your Week 2 lesson. Finally, you will provide a list of at least four scholarly sources in APA Style that represent an equal number of sources that support your stance and sources that oppose your stance. See the APA section in the Chamberlain Writing Center for correct referencing of scholarly sources.

Taking the covid-19 vaccination is a mandate not only in USA but worldwide, however, the stance is to raise awareness and encourage the general public to take the vaccine as soon as possible.
This stance is an accurate stance as even after more than 1 and a half years of suffering from the condition, the disease can not be controlled. People are still suffering and even losing their lives due to the coronavirus. Therefore, even though people are aware that they must take the vaccine, they are not motivated enough to get themselves vaccinated due to several reasons. Therefore, the opposing viewpoints of one section versus the other section of the society can be explored through the essay, in which one supports and the other does not.
I must have to research the topic more to identify the particular section that might oppose getting vaccinated. This includes people who believe in fake news about the covid-19 vaccine and the people who have fallen ill after taking the vaccine. It also includes people who are not exposed to the benefits of taking the vaccine.
The audience can be the general public on whom the research will be conducted. It will also be the government that can use the essay to develop strategies for raising awareness.
This debate is based on the viewpoints of those who support and those who do not. People fail to understand the severity of the virus spread. The media also spreads fake news on the subject to influence the public. Lack of knowledge on the virus and the vaccination can also discourage people from taking the vaccine. However, no strong pointers are available on why certain people fail to take the vaccine. Their thought process is not explored in detail. Their demographics are also not known.

The main outcome of this assignment is to create a clearly stated thesis (your stance stated in I.A) that contains the following requirements. You will need this succinct thesis to continue with your paper. 1. The thesis is only one sentence. 2. The thesis provides the topic, purpose, and the three points you will argue to support your stance. It is critical that you finetune your thesis early in the writing process. As you research, you may find that you need to change one of the points you have in your thesis. That is fine. The key is that you have a well-laid out plan to develop. You also want to make sure that your writing contains specific details and avoids generalities.

Healthcare facilities should use medical chatbots to decrease clinician workload, to
reduce staffing issues, and to improve patient outcomes.
Please remember the sample introduction paragraph section from the Week 2 Lesson and model your introduction paragraph carefully on that example, also reading the explanation for each part of the introduction paragraph in the lesson.
This paragraph should be written using the information provided in the Writing Developmental Paragraphs document. Make sure the thesis (the last sentence of the introduction) contains all of the required information: topic, purpose, 3 developmental points.
Example:
Artificial Intelligence has provided dramatic developments in numerous areas. One such development has been in the healthcare field with the use of chatbots, conversational software that mimics human speech. The use of medical chatbots has increased dramatically due to the COVID-19 pandemic because they are a way for patients to get their medical questions and concerns answered on demand without going to a clinic. Chatbots are also a way to streamline the healthcare provider’s workflow in order to provide better patient care. The benefits of healthcare chatbots will only continue to grow, and because of that, healthcare facilities should use medical chatbots to decrease clinician workload, to reduce staffing issues, and to improve patient outcomes.
